Jarpol™ PVP/VA 73W Solution forms a transparent, hard, glossy, water-removable film. The viscosity and water-sensitivity properties vary depending on the PVP/ VA ratio. It is soluble in most organic solvents and offers flexibility that is very advantageous in hair spray, hair gel, film forming and hair fixing agents, and many other cosmetic applications. It is compatible with many modifiers and plasticizers that allow greater variations of hydroscopicity and film flexibility. As a non-ionic polymer, it does not need to be neutralized. Jarpol™ PVP/VA 73W Solution possesses excellent properties for both aerosol and non-aerosol products. It is mainly used in sprays and hair-setting lotions.
