Jarplex™ SB12 is easy to use in formulation. It is ideal for spray formulations and is an excellent moisturizer for sunscreen spray-ons.

It has anti-inflammatory applications due to its natural phytosterol content. Also, Jarplex™ SB12 contains a high amount of unsaponifiable matter, which provides the skin protection against weather, sun, and aging, and lessens superficial irritations, such as dry/chapped skin, dermatitis and dermatoses, eczema, and sunburn. It is composed of fully refined vegetable oil extracted from the fruit of the Shea tree, and it offers a very light, dry skin feel.

Can be used in concentrations from 1-100%.

At concentrations from 3% to 20%, Jarplex™ SB12 can be used in skin care formulations such as in creams, lotions, soaps, and balms.
In its pure form, it can be used as a moisturizing serum or massage oil.

It offers superior freeze point properties versus other shea butters and stays mostly liquid in cold temperatures.
