CERAPHOR petroleum jellies are homogenous mixtures of hydrogenated, saturated hydrocarbons that are predominately branched. They have very high purity and are nearly odorless.
CERAPHOR petroleum jellies come in white and yellow jellies. White petroleum jellies are most popular with cosmetic applications where a versatile base is needed. The yellow jellies are dyed with a vegetable food grade colorant to provide a yellow base.
