JARETHER ™ D

JARETHER ™ D is the registered trademark of JARCHEM INDUSTRIES, Inc.’s series of saturated primary C6 – C18 linear alcohol ethers. They are prepared in a catalyzed dehydration process using linear alcohols as starting materials.

JARETHER ™ D’s are available based on the different chain lengths of the starting alcohols. For example, JARETHER™ D 6 (R1 =R2 = C6) and JARETHER™ D18 (R1 =R2 = C18)

JARETHER ™ D’s offer several advantageous features:

  1. Stable at extreme pH values
  2. Naturally derived “green” solvents
  3. Pearlescent appearance

Primary benefits of these ethers are:

  1. Ability to formulate in high acidity (pH 3-4) formulations
  2. Clean label.
  3. Provides shine and healthy appearance to hair
